86 journalists killed, 887 arrested, 67 abducted and this simply over the year 2007! The European Union is supporting journalists committed to the development, of democracy and human rights.
The 2007 Grand Prize was given to Siew Ying Leu for her story about a bid by residents of a village in Guangzhou to recall their elected headman for suspected corruption in mid 2005.

CNN is crap.. It sucks living in America it's really tough to get real news, and you have to get it through viewing all of the psuedo news then asking questions to yourself. most Americans work 60-80 hours a week with at the most if you're lucky 2 weeks of vacation out of the year. We really don't have time to take notice to a lot of the issues that bother us.
