    try: ctrl + alt + K , or crl + alt + backspace in extreme cases, or simply wait 10 secs for hte quit

    sorry bro'...this is a LINUX Operating System. You cannot install it in XP. But you can try this.

    Download the iso file

    Write it into a boot CD

    Shutdown XP and boot from CD

    You can test all features of it and it would not install anything on your machine

    If you really like it then you can install and make a dual boot machine of LINUX & XP.

    MAC is a UNIX based system....Linux was created from UNIX by mr linus in the early 90s. this is a distro of linux
