The song is still in the game. They just removed the lyrics.

This is what SONY said:
"During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused. We will confirm the new launch date shortly."

The controversial lyrics and translations are:

"كل نفس ذائقة الموت" ("kollo nafsin tha'iqatol mawt", literally: 'Every soul shall have the taste of death').

"كل من عليها فان" ("kollo man alaiha fan", literally: 'All that is on earth will perish').

Okay, before I begin my views on this, I'm amazed that these comments are actually smart people making actual INTELLIGENT remarks about religion and race (mostly).

Now onto the important stuff. Now I'm not a Muslim, to tell the truth, I am Catholic, and this song is simply amazing. For one thing I love the beat of it, but also the message those two lines give. TWO LINES. It says that we are all going to die someday. And it's amazing, because it's true. Thanks for the truth Muslim religion.

hmmm, doesn't most western music include quotes from the bible? tupac, kanye west, ghostface killer, jay-z i believe all did (maybe not directly out of the bible but some kind of reference), as well as others; i don't see how this is any different. And besides its not like most people are going to understand it anyways, while in the west they all know English most people don't know Arabic so its just music to anyone's ears. weird don't you think.
