You know you have a serious problem when you are being told by David Lynch to "get real".

I love this to death. Too bad the great Roger Ebert is no longer alive. I have a feeling he would have posted this on his website as the final word on the subject. This sums everything up.

TV's can be small too. If we are going to go this route then the only way to truly experience a movie is in the theater.

Lynch stuck in the past? He shot his last movie on a hand-held digital camcorder. What he means is that you can't get a cinematic experience on a phone, and he's right. You see the moving images, but it's not the same experience as watching on a bigger screen. I can see a thumbnail of a Caravaggio masterpiece on the internet, but only a much larger representation of the image will reveal its full quality.

A television is probably also not his idea of experiencing a movie, even today.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
This is bullshit, TV's used to be tiny back in the day. A galaxy note 2 has a 5.5 inch screen, soon their will be a phone with an 8 inch screen and they are only going to get bigger. If i pair this with a good set of headphones in the right setting then I well definitely experience the film. I'm sorry but this guy is stuck in the past.
