I rarely wear leather pants, but when I do, I wear Corinthian Leather.

This man is so smooth, he could sell pork chops to a muslim. RIP Mr. Montalban

You want a smooth talker to sell a luxury vehicle, not so much a muscle car.

Well did you see the 1975 Dodge Magnum? It is easily found on google. The cars are nearly identical. Why pick the Magnum over the Cordoba?

You can choose whatever you prefer, its your decision. I preferred something with style and elegance, the Cordoba had it. As for the Thunderbird which was by now based on the Lincoln Mark, it was a heavy (5,100lbs.) ill handling car. The Cordoba weighed about 1,200lbs. less., different class entirely. The 1975 Dodge Magnum? Have you seen it? It is nearly a carbon copy of the Cordoba. The front clip's only difference is a slightly different grill and the side marker lights.

i'm just saying there were more appealing cars for the era. dodge magnum xe comes to mind as well as ford thunderbirds. if you like being seen in a broke pimpmobile -- that's your business, as for mine; i prefer somethign w/ a bit more laudable flair.

This car was never intended to be an El Dorado or Mark V equivalent so no bubble was burst there. Definitely a cut above Chevy, but there the line blur. The Cordoba was a mid-sized car and you're confusing different classes of cars. The Buick Riviera weighed about 4,500lbs while the Cordo. came in at about 3,900, more on the line of the Monte, but much more luxurious.

you got me there, the toronado and granada were uglier. still, it doesn't take away from the fact the cordova is nothing more than a poorly executed monte carlo from the same era. this may have been a wonderful freeway floater but it was no cadillac el dorado or lincoln mk v. sorry to burst your bubble

I could show you a lot uglier cars from that eral. But you're wrong about this one and the Dodge equivalent. Chrysler sold a boat load of these gorgeous cars. They were quiet, rode well and not too bad on gas for their time. Benz did not sell in the numbers they do today, and Rolls never did then or today. What Mr. Montalban drove is anyone's guess.

Why would there be any irony? Back in 1975 nearly all of the cars coming from the Big Three were huge. GM didn't start downsizing its cars until the 1977 model year.
