    Hi,

Sorry I cannot help you there, but I know if you contacted Maeve herself she would be able to answer.

I don't know if you have ever checked out BBC ALBA Iplayer site as there are always new Celtic music gems appearing on it. At present Celtic Connections from Glasgow presented by Julie Fowles is popular. Cheers BG

The song is 'Fraoch a Ronaigh' The first line is 'Fraoch a Ronaigh, muran a Bhalaigh' (Heather from Rona, marram grass from Bhalaigh) Its quite a common Gaelic song and names a lot of places in the Uists in its lyrics. If you search for it online, the lyrics should be quite easy to find I think. Hope this helps. :>)

Ok thanks! Julie is one of my favorites, so I understand why she is so popular! I've just recently discovered Maeve's music though. She's very good too!
