Jennifer Lawrence Says The Hunger Games "Is Not Twilight"

Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw. Jennifer Lawrence says we should stop the Hunger Games Twilight comparisons in today's PopSugar Rush.

Successful book trilogy? Check. Huge fan base? Check. Could it be that The Hunger Games is poised to become the next Twilight?

Not so fast says star Jennifer Lawrence. The actress recently spoke to Vanity Fair about her highly anticipated franchise, saying:

"Hunger Games is not Twilight, and while I hear the comparisons, it's really premature to say that it will be the same phenomenon."

The first Hunger Games film doesn't come to theaters until next March 23, but anticipation is already building, as new posters from the movie recently hit the web and the hot young stars grace magazine covers. For their latest photo, the cast got together to pose for the December issue of Vanity Fair in this pretty shot, which features Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and the rest of the actors in North Carolina where the movie was filmed.

And even though The Hunger Games may not be Twilight, we couldn't help but notice that the shoot does bear a resemblance to another group photo.
