Actually I am very thankful for GRASS. I used it and Arc Info for my thesis work back in the late 80s. I also took the first GIS course offered at U of Montana for which the crowning achievement was drawing a Grandfather clock with PAM MAP. But most of all, GRASS was my introduction to the Linux operating system when I found out I could run GRASS at home via Linux (Yggdrasil was my first version). That was foundational in my conversion to Linux as my home operating system: Linux rocks!

I showed this video to my GIS Labs (40+ students each quarter) at the beginning of the term then again at the end. It was funny how they didn't "get" it at the first viewing, but got most of it, especially the NOOOOO, at the end of the term. :-)
