Barack Obama say that he has Irish roots. Stephen Neill, a Church of Ireland rector from Cloughjordan, Co Tipperary did the research which showed that Obama is a decendant of Joseph Kearney a shoemaker from Moneygall, Co. Offaly

And? I always knew that the presidents who had irish blood were never 100% percent irish, in fact i always knew their irish roost was usually the minority of their background.

THERE HAS BEEN ONE IRISH CATHOLIC PRESIDENT ... I would say about another 5 presidents have irish ancestry as well as many other ancestry's ...

those presidents were never irish to begin with ..... because they were born in ulster they have made out to be irish .... which couldn't be further from the truth
