Ah. Well, I haven't read it then. But the Yrr one was an interesting concept too. It was about highly intelligent bacteria in the ocean, using their DNA as a brain, who cut through the glass fibre cables between America and Europe, caused a tsunami in western Europe and might have destroyed human life as we know it in the western world.
