Let's say that in a country The Communism Party is popular and have done a lot to improve their county, there would be no need to ban ideologies because the majority like Communism and would oppose a Capitalist leadership. The closet example I have of this is Venezuela but since they had an ideology that opposed Capitalism, it was made out to be a dictatorship when in fact they possibly had the most democratic elections out of all the Americas.

I came to that conclusion because if you didn't ban other ideologies--like ideologies on how to run the economy, or who should control production--then communism wouldn't work and it would be pointless. It would also just be a Social Democracy at best. You can't have communism if you have two options for Chairman: A Communist, and then a Capitalist. What if the people vote for the Capitalist? That's why it always leads to one party. So true Communism must be of a totalitarian proletariat nature.

I don't see how you would have to ban other ideologies, if you could explain how you came to that conclusion then I'll be able to make a response.

In order for communism to actually work though, you have to outlaw other ideologies and communism must have a monopoly on economic and intellectual though. In doing this, only the Communist Party is allowed. This is what leads to a pseudo-dictatorship and then the equivalent of totalitarian rule

Communism is not equal to a dictatorship, just because the west likes to teach it as if it is, both Marxism and Troskyism (the two most popular ideologies in the west) don't support dictatorship. Also you implying that a dictatorship is always a bad thing, which it is not, there have been plenty of dictators who were loved by their people and made their country a better place.
