Walt Disney - Chicken Little - 1943

It's the tale of Chicken Little, only with Foxy Loxy being a cunning villain who uses a number of psychological tactics to drive a farm-ful of animals into a cave to be eaten. Slightly disturbing and quite political - most youngsters will probably prefer Disney's new, computer-animated take on the story, now in theaters.

Those were the days when the word GAY had another sense. If you remember the movie "Three Caballeros" they sang "three gay caballeros". In those days GAY also means happy, carefree, not only homosexual.

Actually they become psychos when they're not brought up on stories like these. The more politically correct and friendly cartoons got the dumber people who watch them got. There are no morals anymore just happy endings.

Back when I was a little kid, one week out of every summer we would have summer family camp. It was fun but the best part were the movie nights. They would set up a movie screen (this was before video) and we would watch cartoons and other stuff. Well one fated summer they played this...perhaps not the best thing to play to a bunch of little kids. Even worse, after this they had the Laurel and Hardy where they got shot at the end.

It is irrational to expect Republicans to be rational. They aren't rational except to the degree that will always be beholden to radical extremists and the rich. They don't believe in winning elections by appealing to the broadest population possible as a normal political party would. Instead, they believe in winning elections by focusing the narrowest band of true believers, turning them out, and using election chicanery and dirty tricks to suppress the vote of everyone else.
