nice video, easy and helpful, but i dont get something - the back of the book looked untidy and badly finished, nothing like the front - is it supposed to look like that??? i thought both sides should look the same, and be presentable whichever way u look at the book...?

The back looks exactly like the front, the ribbon may have just been twisted on the back. You can easily take the time to make sure the ribbon is untwisted on both sides or let it twist as it will, whichever look you prefer.
