In 1968 George Romero filmed "Night of the Living Dead" which has become a cult classic. 10 years later he filmed the sequel "Dawn of the Dead" in Monroeville Mall, east of Pittsburgh Pa.
In a tribute to these films, the 2nd annual Zombie Walk was held in Monroeville Mall in Oct. 2007. Here are scenes from that event.

    I don't know about how to set up your own, but the original zombie shamble is taking place at Monroeville mall this Oct. 11 from 2 - 6. Food donations (for food bank) requested. Zombie ball afterwards at Houlihans.

    If I were the head of the mall, or had anything to do with this event, though... "The Gonk" would have been playing, at some point. It's the official zombie theme song... I think.
