"Queen opening to massive cheers with "Bohemian Rhapsody", and the antics of lead singer Freddie Mercury who got the entire Wembley crowd clapping in unison to "Radio Ga Ga" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" before singing along, word-for-word, to "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions". The band's performance, also including "Hammer to Fall", led to Queen's slot being voted in a recent poll (by fans and musicians alike) as the 'Greatest Live Gig Ever'."
"Queen's iconic performance at Live Aid in July 1985 has been named the world's greatest rock gig in an industry poll."

Freddie I hope you know how much you are still so loved, and admired by fans and rock stars! In 2011 BBC produced a great documentary about the former Farouk Balsara. A major film is currently in production staring Sasha Baron Cohen - who knows how to throw himself into character - and can sing!, Release date TBD sometime this year. Produced by Robert De Nero's Tribecca Films!! I don't think of him as gone, it's too hard!!!

I've always been a huge Queen fan, and it gives me chills to see his performances, especially on this scale. Reminds me of another musical icon: Sly Stone performing, and stealing the show before 250,000 at the original Woodstock, 1969. His shows were described in the same way: Nuremberg rallies. Talents like these will live on no matter what. In Freddie's case, a top-quality movie needs to be made for youngsters to see just how awesome his music/talent is.

I think Queen could go on and on with Roger as their front-man ~ Get rid of all the BS, including Brian May hanging onto Kerry Ellis. I can't stand her!

He was a good singer. Just sad it took him dying from a STD because he wasn't careful.

Bryan May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor where (and still are) great musicians, but without Freddie Queen wouldn't be the Queen we know today, the singer is often the face of the band.
If you look at Freddie as an on stage performer, even Michael Jackson was just a little boy compare to Freddie.

I was ashamed not to have recognised him whilst wearing a h&m t-shirt of him, I love his charisma on the t-shirt so I bought it. Then I youtube'd him and recognised his songs. Gosh what am I happy I bought that t-shirt.
