In a roundabout way, it`s all Russell Brand`s fault. His show on 6 was a massive hit, so, as a result, all the decent hosts (Phill Jupitus, Gideon Coe, Andrew Collins et al) were moved on in favour of so called `wacky` comedian types. I haven`t listened to the morning show since Gid vacated it. In fact, I now only listen to 6 for Lamacq, Marc Riley & Tom Robinson. Save Planet Rock!
