I would be of the same opinion, if he was accompanied by a cembalo. But he plays with a piano, which isn't the original instrument either ... so ...

they dug up the recorder to play old music woth the right sound and th right instrument and now what's happening the recorder breathing down the flute neck ,just doing the wrong thing playing repertoire conceived for an instrument with another ,that ain't right the flute sounds better fot music composed for that instrument that recorder sounds forced here ...no ,the future of the recorder isn't in using different instruments that sound far from what the recorder has sounded till now
