Can't find a good vid to ask this on..but what would be the best class to do solo runs as? I don't always have a party and would generally be soloing stuff.

probably warrior, lancer or priest, I remember warriors used to do solo runs of dungeons and sell the drops a few months back in K-tera... but it took a lot of skill and gear and not sure if its still possible, definitely not possible for bosses with damage checks as soloing dungeons will take awhile

while leveling, mana is going to be a big issue for lancers. The solution for mana drain problems from blocking is to pull less mobs, or get better gear and make sure you have reduction crystals to lower the damage intake, and try to throw in basic attacks between enemy attacks when you can, mp5 crystals help too

well now theres RE for blocking and i have a level 50 mystic and the threat generates only if support or healing powers are active against the current person the threat is generated towards by your deduction i'd say a lancer has 100 points but if a pries or mystic heals them or buffs them then they will get 50 points of aggro each time

In EU at the moment it depends on the class. Any class that benefits from the Blacksmiths Hammerstrike passive (A stun on the basic combo attacks) is best geared in Visionmaker equipment, everyone else in Bloodrave equipment.

Increased stun duration, Increased weakening effects, Increased stun chance. However, I personally only have 1 set of jewelery for both PvE and PvP, and a ring with Crit chance or crit damage, or both, is also not too shabby.

It is also possible that you are taking damage from a debuff that you have at the time. If you shield is not strong enough to block the complete amount of damage, it will not say Defence Success! since it will only say this when you are taking no damage from an attack.

I may be able to help! I have some experience as lancer, and I had to cope with the same problem when starting out. Before level 60, you play with basic glyphs. There is a glyph that will improve your resolve regen on your shield counter. This skill gives you both high threat and resolve regen! You can also glyph your heal for resolve regen. Once you hit 60, I can recommend getting speed casting glyph on your Shout. This will make it easier to cast between shielding, plus Shout generates resolve
