Its addictive, I smoked and although you are on a patch, its the habit thats causing you to want to smoke, the addiction is being taken care of. Ive had anger outbursts and was antsy and no matter what i was doing, i couldnt get my mind off of wanting that cigarette, I craved it and desired it like nothing else. How I quit was just by not having any around me or being around anyone who smoked. The withdrawls got weaker and weaker and further and further apart

Withdrawal was the hardest part for my sister. While it's no miracle drug, there's an over-the-counter version of Wellbutrin - "Zyband" or "Bupropion" - that she took for 3 months to decrease the withdrawal symptoms. Again, not a magic cure, but it was enough for her to quit. She hasn't smoked in over 10 years.

Sure for some people it is more addictive than others. Some people are sensitive to addiction. I am not so. Took one toke of cigarette once and never wanted to smoke again. Never understood why people love this shit so much. But anyway, I found a cure to help me far from addiction, Jesus. The best remedy I ever had :)

These idiots should be shot dead for stupidity lol. I have smoked a pack a day for only 6 years and I am addicted to nicotine or w.e they add in these cigarettes. I have been quit for 5 months 18 days and still "crave" a smoke. It is a disgusting habit and it should be banned. Non-smokers could never possibly imagine the hell an ex-smoker goes through upon quitting... They think that people can help it and just stop. Wow are they wrong!!! Legalize weed.. That is not addictive!

What is really sad is that the folks who grow tobacco and the folks who manufacture cigarettes evidently cannot find something productive to do with their lives. As Americans wise up to the well-documented detrimental health impacts of tobacco smoke, the new business model is to increase exports. There have to be better ways to enhance our balance of payments.

I can sympathize with your point, but you do realize that corporations are often no better than cartels. Regulations can be overturned or made less stringent by lobbying.
