    I Fucking LOVE IT!! Can't get Rugby over here. Yanks take 3 hours to play a 90 minute game, wear helmets and padding that make them look like something out of a Marvel comic.Rugby is a REAL sport and almost a way of life!! Gimme pies, gimme beer and gimme RUGBY!

    No the game is naturally better at accommodating advertising hence more advertisements and more money coming in. The stop start play and timeouts allowed for better TV ad packaging. This was the case before it became the massive spectator sport it is today.

    Because they take longer to play it? Ok?

    Probably more to do with the spectator draw. Hence why soccer players tend to pull in a greater salary too.
