If it takes them 10 hours to consume the world, they must move by at least 790 mph (world diameter is about 7900 miles). And even faster than that, since the growth is slower at start. How are they going to gain so much speed, if each robot takes 15min to make?

A quick arsenal of hydrogen bombs could solve the problem in that scenario. Unless the robots also reproduce downwards into the earth perhabs :)
