BBC are a joke.
They asked John to participate and he agreed. Public votes for who they want to keep in the show. Unlike some of the other nobodies we recognise John and know who he is. If this was supposed to be a "serious" dance competition why didn't they have professional dancers competing?
SOOO glad I don't pay for the BBC's products and sevices!

Actually John Sergeant left voluntarily. As he put it, he felt guilty that his newly made friends were upset, and leaving the competition because of him.
So thats why HE and he alone made the decision to leave. It had nothing to do with the BBC kicking him off. He could conceivably won the competition. But he probably wouldnt have.
Having seen Anne Widecombe, being voted off. Just as the joke was wearing off.
