Australia. 2008 WPS Bathurst Motor Festival FORMULA VEE CHALLENGE.
Mount Panorama, Bathurst, New South Wales. February 8-10 2008.
Field of 55 Formula Vee's competing.
Onboard with Tim Hamilton, Race 1 starting from pole position, 6 laps.

After qualifying on Pole (1st) and leading the first lap, Tim races within the top 7's chess-game of slip-streaming and wheel-to-wheel battles.

The safety car was deployed on lap 3 after the collision of Queenslander Paul Manteit (Rapier) and Victorian Brett Maclennan (Sabre).
(Saftey car laps have been cut out). Tim misses the restart ('Safety Car' boards returned on display at last corner, despite its departure from track), but catches the lead group ahead and finishes 5th (3.0s back the winner and 1.4s from 4th). 4th fastest lap time (2:45.7739 on lap 6).

Race won by Ryan Simpson (Jacer F2K6) from Ben Porter (Checkmate JP02) and Nicky Herford (Jacer SC3).
