The worst is when you leave the room to get something to squish or remove it from the room, then you return, lose track of it and become a victim in your own home. The worst part is when you're too scared to properly look for it incase it scuttles out all over you.

I have a fear of being stranded out at sea like that movie with the couple who gets left behind snorkeling even though I never ever go out to sea, ever. but yeah it's scary and I made the poor choice of watching life of pi today which combined another fear of a big cat attacking me then eating me. I Had to come back and comment on this.

funny you mention that spider bit, I knew a girl who had the worst luck with them, one nabbed her getting out of the shower, apparently she got bit by one while driving, boating, sitting in a coffee shop, one was hiding in her undies and they ruined our date by suddenly crawling out of the beach sand one time, like a tonne of sand spiders suddenly thrashing around as they dug themselves out... it's how I became aware of her spider issue lol.
