Is there a program you use to write and play back these pieces?
Thanks,
Carl

Were you at all influenced by Charles Ives' quarter-tone pieces for piano?

~ No. Ive's is one of my all-time favorite composers, but I kind of have a disconnect with his quarter-tone piano pieces.

this is like the piano version of the Creepy Music Box from horror movies. maybe even worse. it sort of fluctuates between 'ominous', 'run for your life', and 'zombie ballerina'... weird.

Wow, super interesting! It's so dissonant compared to the westernized whole tones that I'm used to hearing. But I really dig it.

I absolutely love this piece!
I'm just starting to explore microtonal music, becoming ever more intrigued the more I listen.
Is DP doing the playback? If so that's a fantastic playback...
If not, where do you find these specialized pianos?

why is this so uncomfortable? because we are conditioned to understand whole tone music or something else that we cant even control???
