After the beautiful and ellegant Titanic collides with an iceberg on the 14th of April 1912 at 11:40pm she begins to sink. The iceberg opened up 5 of Titanic's watertight compartments which then began to flood. The bow of the ship went down due to the weight of the water flooding the inside of the ship and the stern was pulled upwards. At about 02:15am, when the Titanic was at an angle of about 50 degrees the lights went out and she tore apart between the 3rd and 4th funnel. The stern fell back level and the front section began to sink. The sinking front section dragged the stern up vertical and finally, at about 02:20am on the 15th of April 1912 Titanic sank into the Atlantic Ocean. There were 20 lifeboats. None of them were filled to there full capacity. 705 survived. 1500 perished in the dark cold sea.
