In which John introduces the sixth annual Project for Awesome, when

Project for Awesome charity this year is Save the Children, an
organization that has done amazing work with the nerdfighter community
over the last five years and hopefully will continue to be a huge part
of our community for years to come.

Recently, me and 2 of my friends spent 7 weeks at a remote fishing barangay in the Philippines to do nutritional screening and programs. There we learned of a NGO that the community simply called "save". After the rains that decimated my country, this NGO helped this community rebuild. They provided a complete plumbing solution, supplies, and even lobbied for a sea wall to be built. I only realised that "Save" was Save the Children. I hope to make an impact like them one day. DFTBA!
