This is the REAL story of how Microsoft became the #1 operating system. It was more or less because MS made the right BUSINESS decisions at the right times with the right people, instead of innovation & being original while making great products.

Disagree. You are basing your entire premise on the stock price which is manipulated by "geniuses" on Wall St, not rational people. AAPL just had the greatest quarter of any company ever. Yes margins were down for yet another quarter but they still had an incredibly stellar quarter with continued robust demand for their products.

6:19 That's a pachinko machine behind him, which at the time were illegal in California. Not a big deal, just thought I'd point that out. I don't even know if that interview was done in CA, just guessing.

3:16 I absolutely LOVE the way the menu items flashed after choosing them. Miss this feature and wish they would put it back into the OS. I also miss the way the status bar actually showed you the true status of a download or an install, rather than the Windows way where the status bar would move hella slow about half way and then just shoot up after a while.

6:19: Apple never recovered from loosing Steve, Steve was the heart and soul and driving force. It would be at quite a different place today. They lost their heart and soul.

This exact thing is happening again as Steve Jobs died. Apple is dieing.
