I have actually and it was alright. Not bad for a first draft and that's what it has to be loked at as: a 'first draft'. I think the final song is a definite improvement over the demo, but the demo was alright for a first go.
What I feel with this song is that it has more in common with the story themes of the movie than Tina Turner's song (which is not all that bad too). Turner's was more of a song that tried to imitate Shirley Bassey's Goldfinger.
GoldenEye is one of my favorites. But even I don't think its up there with films such as From Russia With Love, The Living Daylights, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Casino Royale.
GoldenEye was originally written for Timothy Dalton and I think that if Dalton had made this movie, with some changes in the script and with this song at the start, then I think that GE could have been one of the best of the series, perhaps even typifying the series as a whole.
This is very good, LuiEComo. A very good song, I feel. My only criticsm with how you've done it is that you shoulld have delayed the start of the music at 0:07 by another 1 second, because you would have had some nice matching between what is happening onscreen and the music at certain points, such as 1:22 and 2:47.

Sigh. What could have been...
