I enjoyed this very much. There is, however, an unfortunate phasing effect on much of the narration which makes it impossible to distinguish what he saying, especially when he is naming the various instruments.

"western music is harmonic using 2 scales". hm haven´t you heard of late 19th, 20th or 21st century classical western music.

the video addresses foundation scales used throughout indian history. the majority western music, both classical and pop, is still based on the ionian and aeolian modes, where as the different ragas were used since the earliest accounts of indian music including pop. also for indians, westerners include people of europe who of coursed first developed the classical style of writing in the 16th and 17th centuries.
