So in other words, if they had gone with this song, it likely would have looked different. As much as a fan of St. Etienne I am, I actually prefer the Sheryl Crow song. This one sounds a little too Austin Powers groovey 60s sounding

Usually the opening credit footage is the last part of 007 films to get done. On one movie from the 1960s, they only completed the opening titles around 24-48 hours before the premiere.

I have enjoyed this band for years and I never knew they were in the running for a Jame Bond movie theme! Cool. Too bad they didn't get it.
