The Thing Trailer

This is my favorite Carpenter movie and one of the few remakes that surpasses the original IMO (like the 1978 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers). It had superb special effects and a great story.

May it never be the victim of a shitty remake.

The opening helicopter shot is terrific. A great film and a real horror film!

This was a great horror movie. Now all we are getting are shitty remakes and stupid horror movies

I really love how this movie makes you keep guessing at every turn. Few movies do that for me nowadays. But you really never know what is the truth and what isn't. Is the alien that crash landed being terrorized by "The Thing" and that is why they crashed? Or was it intentional? Was Chyles at the end The Thing possibly? Do they die? Or do they live? Such a great horror movie and with a great theme as well.

this truly is the best movie in it;s genre to date, even if you don't like old movies (like myself) you will love this. Anyone reading this comment that hasn't seen this movie - PLEASE GO AND WATCH IT!!
