OMG this is scary. I once had a dream about the girl. Was I scared yes, and with all the real stories about exorcism not really a relief as I woke up. But great movie at the time. A true classic.

There are many beautiful qualities about this film. I think some of the most effective and poignant moments occur in the moments without dialogue,when the characters (even Pazuzu) are left alone to think..that's when when we get that ethereal, cavernous soundtrack weaving in and out like a spell. The Exorcist is its own world.

This is the first horror movie I ever watched. My parents don't let me watch it but I saw the whole thing on YouTube. Me being a 12 year old girl it scared me but it's also a really interesting story... :o I'm like, fascinated with it now. xD
