This is an adaptation of a real letter I'm writing to my birthmother. I was adopted from Korea at 3 months old, and I'm saving to cover the fees and potential travel expenses involved in conducting this search. It takes a bit of investment and the chances of failure are high, but I've finally decided that it's worth pursuing... if only to let her know I'm alright, and to say, "Thanks."

Hi Alexa, I am so excited for you and the adventure you are undertaking to locate your Birth Mother. I was born in Germany, then adopted by a lovely American couple. I was blessed to have found my Birth Mother a year and a half ago. I also found I have 2 older brothers (one of which has not been found yet) and 2 younger sisters......oh yeah....I am 45! So never give up! Good luck on your quest to find that part of you that has been missing!
Hi Hanauborn, I also was born in Germany. American parents adopted me and they have passed on. My biological mother whom I have never seen was poor and had to give me up. I would like to meet her. How did you find her. It has been difficult since she is in Germany and I am in the U.S. thank you, scootergreen3
