Show me historical proof that children and women have ever been burned alive or hung or tortured for the sake of witchcraft, not against it.

Show me historical documented proof that wisemen and healers and shamans in the days of old did NOT devote their lives and their studies and magical prowess to the betterment of those around them in their clans, tribes or villaiges..

As fun is it would be to see a bunch of landridden boats all over the place, there's a difference between commands given to Christians overall and commands given to individuals or groups during a certain time period.

If it was only the circumstances of time period that mattered, why does adultery, homosexuality, and so many other things still stand, though we now have protection against STDs and unwanted pregnancy, and why is slavery outlawed? It would be a good way to erase debts and punish criminals, and even Jesus approved of slavery.
