I would love to have this little app. Unfortunately, I don't have an iPhone, and I'm currently saving my money for a Maparam triple ocarina.

Good fucking lord. Just buy an Ocarina. I'm not saying it's bad or anything. Actually it's kinda interesting but understand that this is still just a program; and that your basically playing a very simple video game(A more interactive video game but a video game nonetheless). Might as well get something tangible especially for something as simple as this, it's not a terribly difficult instrument to learn.

You don't need a touchscreen and mic to emulate something you can make outta fucking clay.

First of all, that can't be classified as a video game. Video games have objectives and clear ends, at best this might be called a simulator, but it's more of digital miniaturized ocarina. It's for fun. For people who get a kick out of the ocarina, without wanting to learn how to play the ocarina.

From the beginning it was just a difference of opinion. My opinion was that it was interesting and all, but there's really no difference between this and a real ocarina. If you wanna get a kick outta the ocarina, i think you might as well get a new one.

Secondly, anyone who uses this IS learning how to play the ocarina (the 4hole variant)
