like cleopatra in 1963, abyss was full of problems, everything went wrong in the movie, bad weather accidents delay, and great pression, in those times there was no CGI so everything had to be (traditionally), that's why i say cleopatra and abyss were 2 very bad experiences for the crew and for cameron and manquiewitz....

i think you mean flatline means no shock. if they're in ventricular fibrillation or "v-fib" there won't be a pulse and that is one of the shockable rhythms. the other shockable rhythm without a pulse is ventricular tachycardia or "v-tach". but yeah, i love how on tv and in the movies they are constantly shocking asystole or "flatline". perhaps one day they will listen to their medical advisor and not shock asystole.

And the award goes to.............she looked really dead! Must have been that smackin around. that brought her back. Wonder what she thought when she looked in the mirror and saw how swollen her cheeks were. Great job Ed, hope you're around when I need CPR. Don't give up k?

To labour the point, and be - redundantly -specific, the line I quoted which he delivers runs a great risk of seeming trite and melodramatic but Harris makes it sound natural. He makes it human. He even manages to make it poetic.

Great actors render the banal and mundane both real and beautiful.

"GODDAMNIT YOU BITCH, YOU NEVER BACKED AWAY FROM ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE, NOW FIGHT!"

When he starts shouting at her to fight, I'm by turns moved by the character's emotion, awed at the intensity, awed at Harris's ability to portray that raw feeling, and moved at Harris's willingness to dig so deeply into himself for our benefit.

One of those useful scenes that remind you that the very best actors - you decide how many they number - deserve their praise and status in society. True artists.
