Prodipdas, thank you immensely for posting this song, as it touches my heart and brings me back to romantic memories of my maiden voyage back to India from overseas.

I love this song so much that I want to hear it during my last moments.

I believe the sheer melody and divinity from Madan Mohan and Lata in this song will remain unmatched.

Bhimpalasi composition bringing out the pure essence of the raag. MM and Lata create magic. THANKS prodipdas. made me tearful, as my elder brother used to love this song. He is no more , died an untimely death.

2:55 to 3:04....one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written...eeirie yet soothing, calm yet can give you goose bumps....this has to be one of my top ten lata favorites...and mr madan mohan's talent cannot be described into words....lovely...

This movie was a Hindi version of the Marathi Film "PAATHLAAG" (chase), a very haunting, outstanding and memorable movie.

It is hard to say which version came out better. Such comparisons are always very subjective and biased.

I think both movies are just outstanding!

Mera Saya is unique because of Madan Mohan Ji's music, Lata's divine voice and Raja Mehdi Ali Khan's phenomenal lyrics.

Such were the greatest movies of the past.
Will these type of movies come again?
Who knows?
