Dear va12io, rich culture was born in ancient India because we would respect our parents,teachers&elders.
But today its so sad that influence from the west is killing the antient heritage because of its dont care attitude

i wonders y india got such a great heritage of monuments,music,art ,culture.......
Although i am not an indian,my language tamil help me to know such great things in my life.

An excellent rendition with fairly good Kannada pronunciation. One of the great things about MSS' music is that her uchcharana (pronunciation) of all words is generally pretty good, whether the language is Kannada, Tamizh, Sanskrit or Telugu. Also important to note is that she is pretty old when singing at this concert, which makes this video doubly laudable! :) Will remain an inspiration for many more decades to come.

I know a little Hindi and have visited India several times over the past few years....tears come to my eyes when I hear such wonderful words and want to know more about such songs. You are so fortunate to have the music of the ages...thank you. Shanti, shanti, shanti....
