Playing the Sitar

I just finished a course in beginning sitar so I made this video to show my parents. it gets cut off at the end because my memory card was full... enjoy!

A real good attempt on the sitar. Some of the frets seemed a tad sharpened. The flow of the plucking is a tad choppy, but it is difficult to do it without the mizrab. Keep practicing whatever you are doing, and listen to more Indian classical music to see the totality. Good luck and keep it up! :-)

me too! I have a friend that plays much better and there is barely any hits on it, most likely that fact he... that explains plenty i am sure.
