I was never a big patriot but now i'm living in Warsaw and this song gives me goosebumps....seeing the flag outside the embassy was another proud moment
I am already living my dream of giving back to my country while iam growing! Dude,do whatever you say do it in action,I was in USA for 9 yrs,did not apply for GC,citizen becos i never wanted to,here iam in my OWN country my Mother India-I cherished you before I went ,i cherish you even more after i came,it will only grow and grow
I m going back to India from Houston...leaving a life full of comfort..and will surly going to contribute significantly to progress of my mother land..i do have solution to India's few of the major problems...I feel responsible to my home land and answerable to those who have sacrificed their life for us..i am not running from problems of India ..but i m running towards them to kill them....Jai Hind!!
u say.. if everyone leaves their country to seek happiness, then india will improve.. HOW? u may say that every yr SOME of them (not all) may want to send money back to india.OK..that helps i agree.. but what about depriving ur country of a great professional?! India wont improve coz most of the "good stuff" it does produce ends up in some massive house in the western world...coz india just cant entice them to stay.. so the good workforce leaves..meaning the ppl have to compromise..WHAT A SHAME!
Moreover, (I cant get my head around this) How can we accept that our ex prime minister Indira Gandhi sent her son Rajiv to study in England.... same with Ness Wadia, Rahul Gandhi and I am sure many more... our own leaders show such little belief and regard for our own country's education system... therefore, how can we truly love ur country.... it does not make sense... WE NEED TO GET REAL!! dont love ur country blindly... do something to sort it out... once it is done then say Vande Mataram.
we have a whole host of issues we should not be proud of eg. female infanticide, caste based discrimination, discrimination towards women, hindu-muslim tension sever impoverishment.ppl starve to death poor policing system.... we dont care much about c02 emissions poor literacy and education rates there is soo much wrong with India.. we should sort it out before we say "it is a great country!" lets not mask india by showing this ugly facade..
People make statements without meaning them. So some of the I luvvv India...is a little exagerrated. I am proud of Indian heritage. But it is my god given right to seek happiness in this world by all means. If evryone does that India will improve. I am staunch Liberatarian (Ayn Rand) and hence you may have difficulty understanding my point. Every society experiences this trauma, they develop and they have problems. Nationalism DOES NOT HELP SOLVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THE ONLY EXCEPTION OF MILITARY
country, then u should look at the profile of the ppl IN THE COUNTRY.. coz that really shows how much ppl want to be in that country which is the most important underlying issue.... moreover, I am very offended when ppl say stuff like.. "India is the best place on earth"... no it isnt!!!! Just coz we got a few skyscrapers and 5 star hotels these days does not mean we have become very rich overnight... We are a country corrupted the politics and the abuse of power. (next message)
