It's like she's trying to make an upbeat pop-ballad out of the original work. It's lost all of its impact for me; it's no longer a song of lingering heartbreak and longing. Definitely not a good cover.

She's so pretty! I never tire of her voice.
I'll never tire of his guitar skills either. He kind of reminds me of Santana...(Sorry I don't know their names)

I have looked back on the comments and needed to give my take...I had not heard this song before BN's version (even though I have been a longtime Ritchie Blackmore fan) . The song struck me right off the bat as one of the best tunes on Secret Voyage. It is enchanting, and Ritchie's guitar is beautiful and rich. He has outdone the original, and I feel that the re-record of Street of Dreams is better than the original as well. My opinion--I was not paid for this :-) Well done!

I'm a HUGE Rainbow fan, I love Dio's voice., but No one is taking the original away..it's always there to enjoy and go back to! This is just a different version, a reinterpretation and whether you do or dont like Candice's voice/ the arrangement....what you do get (and cant deny) is some BEAUTIFUL Blackmore guitar playing 0.06?....2.16?...4.00 ...I say re-do the entire Rainbow Catalogue...why not?...just means more new solos! Tell you what would be fun though, to hear Dio sing this version?

I don't agree w/ the idealistic haters here. But I think the tempo's a little quick. The drum beat is alittle more up beat than the lyrics.
But I love Candice just as much as Ritchie. And I know I shouldn't start sentences w/ 'but' or 'and'.

I loved the cover, it has magic, some sensual side. I like to listen it when I walk near the river and lake. :)
