If you mean there was guitars used, and a singer, and musical notes, yeah it does sound a little bit like U2. It's pretty funny how much U2 hate-dom there is here, though.

it's possible they're using it for guides on the facial animations, but body animations are generally done using typical motion-capture (the actors wear those funny suits so cameras can detect their positions)
