One of the worst incidents of the Northern Ireland troubles was when IRA gunmen murdered 3 protestant men at Darkley Gospel Hall when they walked in and opened fire on the congregation. During the funeral of one of the men, his widow stood at his graveside, closed her eyes, raised her hands to heaven, her wedding ring glistening in the sun and sang ''In the sweet bye and bye, we shall meet on that beatiful shore.''
