Wow it is amazing to see how much apple has advanced.

How come they didn't show the shot after she said "I don't know anything about computers either?" You know, where the guy's smile turns into a scowl as he curses in italian, "what a bitch, couldn't even tell me how to shut my computer off!"

Ad an owner of one of these, I can easily say your right! It weighs about 16lbs. But it does have a built-in handle, and it came with a carrying case.

Several years ago I had a laptop that weighed about 7 lbs.
By the end of a long road trip it felt like I was schlepping around a bowling ball.
I can't imagine trying to lug a 16 lb. 'portable' computer on an extended trip...

Are you SERIOUS?!?!? A right of PASSAGE?!?!? What's the MATTER with you? As long as a computer does things well, shouldn't it be made as simple as humanly possible? There's no such thing as "oversimplifying" when it comes to performing tasks on a computer. Although Macs are much simpler than PCs, there are still some tasks which are pretty damn complicated. The same tasks on Windows are even worse. How can you not see the value of simplifying any given task as much as technology allows?

haha it's so amazing how people found such large machines so amazing then. in 50 years people would be like OMG i can't believe people found I-Pods so cool! XD
