Welcome, on the sites of Anna Netrebko the greatest soprano of all the times!!!!

Gladly, you can write your comments but we don't answer you, because your intelligence is as bad as all Callas freaks. It's not our level!!

Better you go back to the low-class from the Callas sites.

She is simply gorgeous. But it wouldnt be so interesting if she wouldnt sing like that; genuine, beautiful. She moves, gives me goosebumps. Technical perfection is boring most of the time..Does it even exist?

Oh, I certainly agree. I am probably the biggest Kiri te Kanawa fan I know, and I love Beverly Sills and Leontyne Price much more than Anna. I don't think she is even close to as good as the "mega star" sopranos (those three you mentioned, and others like Sutherland, Tebaldi, etc). I just don't think she should get as much critique as she does. She could be much more musical and could be more detail oriented, but I do think she should have a place in the opera world.

Thanks, sax. I am not at all impressed with Ms. Netrebko. Here is an example form the same part of the world as Anna.

"Lola Astanova Plays Beethoven"

Lola is everything that Netrebko is not. She is not a cheap publicist. Lola really understand the music and I think she will turn out to be a great, if she is not already. Anna will always appeal to a certain type of audience, impressed by hype. To my mind, she is not even "cool" Lola is.

swanningaround, I see your point and I might even agree with it. Although I find that Netrebko is great in the world of opera and brought more fans into it. I was watching some of Ms. Astanova's videos and lots of people give her hard time as well for looking like a movie star. I think Ms. Netrebko and Ms. Astanova only look-a-like but quite different as artists. In any case, classical music needs those striking brunettes! Valery Gergiev seemed to think so.....

Astanova may be quite good looking. However, her main attibute is her marvellous playing ability. I don't care Valery Gergiev says or thinks. He is a cheap publicist to my mnd too. Lola is not. Classical music needs talent, not "striking brunettes". I say again. Astanova would never get involve in these cheap publicity stunts like Netrebko. She doesn't need to. Astanova has real talent, and this and her inner beauty in her soul would always shine through.
