I love bocelli but this song sounds better in a countertenor or a soprano !! And of course is not pop music, is as beautiful as any other classic song or aria

It's not actually by Caccini; rather, under his name, but actually composed by Russian composer Vavilov in 1972.

I call it pop music because of its lack of musicality and tendency to exploit a single idea (one sequence through the whole thing).

I fail to see how a song that is in ABA from is now considered pop music.
