鄧麗君當然是無法超越的，但是我真的很喜歡王菲的這首，可能配樂 也不同吧，王菲唱得很潚洒，把我帶到那個境界裏去，這也是我唯一 會背的詞。

I cant agree more.
Even nearly 15 years after this album came up, all the songs still sound modern, contemporary and attractive, and it is all down to the innovative arrangement, and of course faye's brilliant interpretation.

traditional chinese poetry follows a very different line, compared with the west, and somehow, those written in thousands of years look very modern today ... the ancient chinese poets seem seldom bothered about the old-school problems once dominated western poets: death, love, poverty etc...
