wait...so the reason Yowane exists is because people made Miku sing too much and her voice got all scratchy or soemthing?

Basically. I take it as if the artist didn't think they really got anything out of Miku's voice they use Yowane Haku as a mascot. I believe.
With that in mind I feel bad for the artist, it's like using Yowane highlights how they aren't that impressed with Miku's voice. : (
