i think conductors have the most fun if the Radetzky marsch is on their list ;p

I tried to get there many times but it´s like this: you cannot buy a ticket, you can join the lottery that takes place every year from January to .. February I think. And if you´re lucky, you get picked! That prestigious the concert is. I hope I´ll get there finally some day :-)

They do this at every Vienna New Years Concert as a tradition, just look up "Radetzky March 2008" or 2007, 2006, 2005, any year. The audience always claps along and the conductor almost always directs them as well.

well, he's the only one i have seen so far that managed to get the audience to clap at the right time.
